It is our aim to make your visit to our Hideaway a relaxing experience that you will treasure for many years and wish to repeat time and again. We ask that you read and accept the following terms and conditions which must be read with by all persons visiting Horse Park Hideaway.

Check In The Cabins are available from 3.00pm on day of arrival. You will be sent a message if the cabin becomes available before the 3pm check in time. 

Check Out The Cabins are to be departed by 10am and should be left clean and tidy. All rubbish is to be disposed of responsibly in the recycling bins and any breakages reported to us.

Booking We accept bookings from families couples and with pre agreement from groups. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. A deposit of 50% of the booking total is required when the booking is made and the full booking balance must be paid 14 days before arrival. If the full balance isn’t paid 14 days before your arrival we reserve the right to cancel your booking with the deposit being non refundable, payment may be taken automatically within 7 days of your stay if not paid. The full payment is non refundable if cancelled within 14 days of your booking. Packages should be added on when booking but these can also be added on at a later date. Any outstanding balances on the day arrival will be charged from the payment card

We supply bedding for each booked guest and 1 towel per person for your stay. Extra towels and robes can be hired for an extra charge.

Cancellations or amendments The deposit is non refundable and non transferable. In the event of a no show the full cost of the booking is non refundable. 

Site Accessing the site is through a private driveway, please do not reverse out of the driveway. There are lots of places to turn round on site. There are allocated parking spaces for each cabin. Please only park in the bays provided, not on the road or otherwise blocking access for anyone else. There are private areas on site which you are not permitted access to. Please read all signs and do not enter these areas.

CCTV we have cameras that point towards fern cabin and Connie cabins parking bays. They are motion activated and are for both your safety and for our security.

Behaviour Any abusive, threatening, disputive, behaviour towards any one on site will not be tolerated. If you are a nuisance to other guests and a complaint with evidence Is made you will be liable to compensate them for their stay and asked to leave without a refund.

Breakages, Damage, Loss and Theft If on your arrival you find any items or fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to us and it will be replaced. We do accept a degree of wear and tear, but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you may be held responsible for and must make good to the lowest market value. We reserve the right to charge the main guest for any damage to the cabin or grounds and excessive cleaning where the cabin has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc.  You will be responsible for anything that is lost or stolen from the cabin and will have to replace or make good to the lowest market value

Children The Hideaway is a wonderful place for children to play but parents or guardians are responsible for them at all times. Please do not leave them alone around the Hot Tub, Log Burner, Fire Pit or BBQ. Children must not play unsupervised anywhere on the site. Horse Park Hideaway accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. 

Play area and Trampoline The equipment is visually inspected every day and a written inspection is recorded weekly. Children must be supervised at all times when playing on the play equipment. Children under 6 years of age must not play on the trampoline. Use of the play equipment is at your own risk, Horse Park Hideaway do not accept responsibility for any injured caused when using the play equipment.

Hot Tub Please follow all the hot tub guidelines which can be found in our info pack. Please be aware the decking can be slippery when wet, take extra care when getting in and out of the tub and walking around the decking.  Children should not be left alone at anytime when using the hot tub. The hot tubs will be checked daily by a member of staff

Dogs are welcome and can have a lovely stay here. Their visits must be confirmed in advance on booking. Owners must clean up after their dog and dispose of appropriately. Dogs must not be left alone in cars, Cabins or Bell Tent. We can provide a dog bed and bowls but you are welcome to bring your own dog bed or basket for your dog to sleep on. They are not allowed on any furniture. Dogs must be well-behaved and under control at all times, Horse Park Hideaway has the right to ask badly-behaved or troublesome dogs to leave. We ask for a contribution towards cleaning when dogs are staying.

Peace and Tranquillity  We hope that you will be using our outdoor facilities including the fire pit, hot tub and decking area when the weather is nice enough to do so but we would like to remind you to keep the noise down in the later evenings, and no music outside after 10pm. It may look like there isn’t anyone that could hear you but the sound does travel in the wonderful open space. So please no late night raves :) Anyone committing a nuisance or disturbing the peace of Horse Park Hideaway will be asked to leave immediately and without a refund.

Maximum Occupants Fern cabin can sleep a maximum of 2 Adults and up to 3 children. Connie Cabin can sleep a maximum of 6, which includes a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 4 children. If you have guests visiting, you must let us know in advance that this will be happening or they will be asked to leave.

Stolen Property Horse Park Hideaway cannot be held responsible for any of your lost or stolen property. You will be charged if any Horse Park Hideaway property is lost or stolen.

No Smoking Policy All Cabins have a strict No Smoking Policy. Anyone who smokes outside is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin and must not litter the surrounding area. No drugs or substances are permitted on site.

No Fire Policy Fires are restricted strictly to the wood burning stoves, Fire Pit  and BBQ only. Guests will be held responsible for any fire or damage to any property at Horse Park Hideaway. The fire pits are not to be moved at all during your stay!! They can only be used where they are in the cabin garden.

Car charging Car charging is not permitted on site, if you are found to be charging your car a fee of £60

Group Bookings Unlike many luxury Glamping companies and holiday we don’t turn away adult groups. However, we need to make it clear that we are primarily a family campsite and cabins and are only able to accommodate groups who want to enjoy our quiet rural location with outdoor activities and relaxed evenings chatting around a fire. If you like jaunting off to town and returning late into the night, then we are probably not for you. We’ve had lots of really lovely groups of adults of all ages staying with us. If your group fits in with our ethos, then Horse Park Hideaway should be a great place to stay and for you and your friends to enjoy.  Please contact us direct if you wish to make a group booking.

Insurance We recommend that all holiday makers have their own insurance.

We will always try to be as flexible as possible, whilst ensuring you and other guests have an enjoyable stay. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or requests.

If you are found to be breaching any of our terms and conditions you will be asked to leave immediately and not be refunded.

What information do we collect? Horse Park Hideaway collects information about you as part of our business process and functions. The information normally includes your name, address, telephone number, names of party members, a contact email address, payment arrangement details and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect any party member’s holiday arrangements.

Horse Park Hideaway collects information about you (our guest) to: • Process your booking • Communicate throughout the process of booking and managing your holiday experience. • Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us • Seek your views or comments on the services we provide • Notify you of any changes to our services • Send you communications which may be of interest to you, for example, sending you emails or details of future promotions and offers • Analyse and review for marketing purposes of Horse Park Hideaway.

How do we treat your information? All details you give to Horse Park Hideaway at any time will be kept for the period of your booking, holiday and such reasonable period thereafter.
