We are nearly there…. Nearly ready to open 😬 I am so excited for our guests to see all our hard work. I am so incredibly proud of what we’ve managed to pull together during this time.
Josh has been incredible, during the height of covid-19 when Josh couldn’t do his day job anymore he was at the cabin day in and day out making sure we were ready to open once the lock down is lifted. He’s struggled to get materials, struggled to get people on site to do the things he can’t but he has managed to pull it all together. He then went back to work and has spent most evenings and every weekend there. I am so proud of him for creating the best and most unique glamping cabin I have ever seen!
And i’ve finally managed to get my hands on the interior!!! I am gutted I haven’t been able to get out to the shops and find the furniture and decor I really want and i’ve fallen short on a couple of chairs that weren’t exactly like the photo online. But on the whole I am managing to get most things needed. And I have to say it is looking incredible! My IKEA shop is being delivered with my last few bits on Friday and then I should be fully furnished 😬😁
I’ve started to get a funny feeling when I think about guests staying, it’s as if i’m letting people stay in my own house without me there or handing my baby over to a stranger!! You can look but you can’t touch! 😂 I hope this is normal and something that will pass!
We finally got our postal address this week! Please don’t send us post yet we haven’t got a post box! It was a great feeling, like this is all actually real and it’s ours. 21 days and we should have running water!
So for anyone that reads these blog posts, i’m not sure who if anyone does, I have an exciting announcement! We should hopefully be going live on Airbnb on Saturday! You will be able to book from August! How incredibly exciting, I hope we get bookings 🙏😂🤞
